This is a critical time in the history and progress of Abilene ISD. As you have likely seen in recent media coverage, the Texas Education Agency has ranked AISD’s overall performance for the 2009-2010 school year as “unacceptable” because of our failure to graduate at least 75 percent of each and every one of our racial/ethnic subgroups of students. You certainly deserve an explanation.
